The best things to do in Frankfurt:

Römerberg is a large open square in the Old Town of Frankfurt and is surrounded by charming half-timbered houses. This is where you’ll find Römer, the former town hall of Frankfurt for more than 600 years.

Most of the buildings on the site were destroyed during World War II, so many of the buildings are only reconstructions of the original buildings. Reconstruction or not, Römerberg is one of the best and most popular things to do in Frankfurt.
