Alanya is the most popular holiday destination in Turkey – And it’s not that hard to understand why! Alanya has it all and is the perfect place if you want to combine sunshine holidays with both sightseeing and shopping in Alanya. There is a myriad of shopping opportunities in Alanya and it’s almost impossible to return home empty-handed. It can be difficult to stand for the large selection and the cheap prices.

You’ve probably already heard about what a mecca Alanya is when it comes to replica goods from the colorful Bazaar at the Marina. 1. Atatürk Boulevard

Atatürk Boulevard is the main street and the largest shopping street in Alanya. Here you’ll find a large selection of international shops, but there are also a few bazaar shops among them. Fortunately, it’s easy to know the difference and therefore you shouldn’t be afraid of being cheated.

The shops on Atatürk Boulevard sell everything from clothes and shoes to fur and jewelry. You should be aware that you can’t find exclusive branded stores here, but instead cheap quality clothing.

2. 25 Meters Street

25 Meters Street got its name because it’s located 25 meters from Alanya’s main street Atatürk Boulevard. The street is very busy and isn’t so marked by tourism yet. But this is where you’ll find the local shops with prices that are often much cheaper than on Atatürk Boulevard. This is also where you’ll find Alanya’s largest shopping center Alanyum, which is described further down the page.

3. Alanya Bazaar

The colorful and atmospheric Bazaar in Alanya consists of about 100 shops and is one of the very best places for shopping in Alanya! All kinds of counterfeit goods are sold here: clothes, shoes, bags, blankets, electronics – And yes, you can actually buy everything here!

Remember to pay extra attention to the quality of the products, as it’s very different in each store. Sellers often want an unreasonable amount of money for their cheap copy goods, so be sure to haggle over the price! You can often haggle the price down to half the starting price. So, it’s about finding your inner dealer!

Unfortunately, some of the vendors are very approachable and unpleasant, and it may take a lot of patience to walk through the Bazaar sometimes. But the cheap prices and the special atmosphere are all worth it!

4. Markets

There’s a wide selection of local markets in Alanya and there’s actually a market every single day in Alanya. The many markets are spread well across the city and have a wide variety of goods. You can buy everything from exotic fruits, vegetables, and spices, but also counterfeit items such as clothes, shoes, and bags.

Often you can get a much better deal in the markets compared to the Bazaar because the sellers don’t pay as much for a stall in the markets.

5. MegaMall

Another great opportunity for shopping in Alanya is to visit MegaMall. It opened its doors in 2015 and is the newest shopping mall near Alanya. The center consists of two floors with shops selling clothes, shoes, electronics and more.

Unfortunately, it’s not exactly a giant shopping mall, although the name suggests otherwise. MegaMall is located in Konakli just outside Alanya. But the center has a shuttle bus that runs back and forth to Alanya every day.

6. Alanyum

Alanyum is located at 35 Meters Street and is the largest shopping mall in Alanya. However, it’s not that impressive in size, so don’t expect anything completely wild. The center consists of three small floors with eateries and shops selling clothes, toys, electronics, and more. Alanyum also has a small playground for the children as well as a cinema. It’s a good getaway in bad weather or if you’re nearby anyway.

7. Steffany Diamond

Steffany Diamond is a jewelry store located in the center of Ataturk Boulevard. Here you can find genuine jewelry at very cheap prices. You can even haggle the price down a bit and save even more money!

I was a little in doubt about the authenticity of my jewelry now that they came from a true copywriter mecca like Alanya. But I got them rated at home and it turns out they are genuine and worth a lot more than I paid for them! When you buy jewelry in this store in Alanya, you also get a 5-year warranty and a 10-year repair service.

So, if you’re looking for cheap genuine jewelry in Alanya, I can highly recommend Steffany Diamond. Of course, there are also other stores with real jewelry in Alanya, but I just can’t defend them when I haven’t tried them yet.

8. Tailors

There are many tailors around Alanya, and they are very skilled at making the clothes just the way you want them. You can choose fabric inside the store, and get specially sewn shirts, pants, jackets, dresses and much more.

Even though the prices are low, you can easily trust that the clothes will be of good quality. In some places, it only takes a few hours to make the clothes and in other places, it takes a few days. So, it may be a good idea to ask about the price and time of the various tailors before getting it done.
