One of the best things to do in Hurghada at night is to visit Hurghada Marina at sunset. It’s such a beautiful experience to watch the sun slowly sink into the Red Sea.
2. Experience the nightlife
As soon as darkness descends, Hurghada transforms from a sleepy resort town into a vibrant party town. In fact, Hurghada is one of the leading nightlife cities in Egypt. There’s a large selection of discos, nightclubs, and bars serving colorful drinks and playing loud music throughout the city.
Some resorts and hotels even have their very own discos and nightclubs. So why not enjoy a fun night out in Hurghada? For your own safety, however, you should never go out alone at night in Hurghada. Always make sure to go out in groups.

When visiting a Bedouin village on a tour, you’re usually dressed in their clothes. You’ll then be invited into a tent where you’ll be offered a tasty feast with traditional Egyptian dishes. On most tours, you can also attend an oriental show and listen to local songs.

As in most other popular resort towns around the world, Hurghada also offers a large selection of entertaining shows. You’ll be able to find everything from dance shows and concerts to magicians and more. Several of the major hotels and resorts in Hurghada, offer weekly shows to their guests. It’s a good idea to investigate whether the show includes animals to avoid supporting animal cruelty.

One of my best memories of Hurghada at night was definitely smoking hookah on the beach. It was simply so nice to sit there on the beach and enjoy the sunset. If you need a hookah, you can buy them all over town for cheap money. Besides smoking hookah on the beach, it’s also possible to try it at many other locations in Hurghada.
7. El-Dahar Bazaar
If you want to go shopping in Hurghada at night, you should visit the El-Dahar Bazaar. The bazaar lies in the oldest part of Hurghada and usually closes late at night. Here you can buy everything from clothes, shoes, and bags to blankets, spices, hookahs, and more. Remember that it’s allowed to negotiate the price. Often the price can come down to half the starting price.
8. Quad Bike Safari at sunset
Another popular thing to do in Hurghada at night is to go on a quad bike safari in the desert at sunset. It is truly beautiful to experience how the sun slowly descends over the Egyptian desert landscape. Many of the tours are combined with other popular night tours in Hurghada. For example, you can combine quad bike safaris with visiting a Bedouin village or go on an Astronomical night trip.
9. Abu Tig Marina
Abu Tig Marina lies in the beautiful resort town of El Gouna, located about 25 kilometers north of Hurghada. Here you can take a walk around the marina and enjoy the sight of luxurious yachts that are extremely impressive. You can also visit a large selection of great restaurants and bars. Or how about go shopping in one of the exclusive stores?
When visiting Abu Tig Marina in El Gouna, be sure to slip past Downtown. Here you’ll find a lovely square with many great shops and restaurants. Also, don’t forget to visit the bazaar where you can shop without being pressured by eager sellers. It is forbidden for the sellers in El Gouna to seek out people and negotiate the price. It’s absolutely perfect and liberating for travelers!
